Nordstrom Rack opened a new store in Surprise on Thursday, Aug. 28, to much excitement from fans of the clothing retailer.

"I can't wait!!!!! Love me some Nordy's Rack," read one comment on a Facebook post announcing the opening.

"My favorite store," read another.

The new store is the 11th Nordstrom Rack in metro Phoenix and the first in Surprise. It opened in Prasada North, a shopping center located off Loop 303 and Waddell Road.
