A couple has pleaded guilty in federal court to charges that stemmed from a June interaction with federal immigration agents.

Mehrzad Asadi Eidivand, an Iranian national, was accused of possessing firearms and ammunition while being in the United States unlawfully. His wife, Linet Vartanians, a U.S. citizen, was accused of aiding and abetting her husband's illegal possession of weapons and of threatening federal officers.
