AVON, Ohio (WJW) -- A handful of local kids got the chance to go on a back-to-school shopping spree with one of the Cleveland Cavaliers!

The children are part of a group called the Cleveland Police Athletic League which helps youth in the Greater Cleveland area through athletic programs and other events.
Each kid received a gift card worth $150.
According to the NBA, Proctor is 21 and was born and raised in Australia.
