CRIS Collinsworth is set to sign a four-year deal with NBC Sports to continue covering the NFL.
The contract will keep him in the broadcasting booth until the 2029/30 season, meaning he will cover the Super Bowl in 2026 and 2030.
Collinsworth makes $12.5 million per season, and The Athletic report that he will stay on with the network.
NBC show 21 NFL games this season, starting with the Dallas Cowboys vs the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, September 4.
The Thursday night season-opener sees last year's Super Bowl Champions face the world’s most valuable sports team.
The network’s current contract, which runs until the 2034 season, will see them host 21 matches this season.
This includes every prime-time Sunday Night Football match, the Thanksgiving night game and the Peacock
