Cracker Barrel is reverting back to its "Old Timer" logo after mounting criticism over its recent branding change .
The restaurant chain, which has three locations in the Tri-State area, confirmed that its "new logo is going away" in a statement to USA TODAY on Aug. 26.
The announcement came a week after the country store unveiled a new, simplified logo . Many customers were quick to decry the change, which even prompted a response from President Donald Trump .
There are three Cracker Barrel restaurants in the Tri-State area. One is in Indiana at 8215 Eagle Lake Drive, Evansville; while two are in Kentucky: 2130 US Highway 60 E in Henderson, and 5311 Frederica St. in Owensboro.
