Reservoir Fire Department to Host Annual 9/11 Memorial Run

The Reservoir Fire Department is inviting the community to participate in its Annual 9/11 Memorial Run on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

The event will begin at 7:00 a.m. at Fannin Lanes off Old Fannin Road. Runners and supporters will follow a familiar loop route around the northshore side of the Barnett Reservoir, continuing along Highway 471 and Spillway Road before ending back at Fannin Lanes.

Organizers say the run is an opportunity for the community to come together to honor and remember the lives lost and forever impacted by the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

The fire department is encouraging the community to attend and show their support.
