AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Don Harrington Discovery Center and Wildcat Bluff Nature Center will offer $1 admission for Labor Day weekend.

The Discovery Center’s Discover for a Dollar will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 29.

Organizers say the evening will feature science demonstrations, a space theater show, and fresh popcorn.

Wildcat Bluff will host Discover for a Dollar on Aug. 30 from sunrise to sunset.

Visitors are asked to place their admission in the drop box next to the Visitor Center’s entrance.

Visitors can also use the QR codes at the trailhead or bulletin board.

Organizers say no reservations are required for the program.

Discovery Center Collective members’ admission is already included in their membership as well.
