MONROEVILLE, Ala. (WKRG) — Officials with the Monroeville Police Department are searching for a murder suspect.

According to an MPD Facebook post, an arrest warrant has been signed for Kyle Timothy Salter on a murder charge.

Salter is accused of shooting and killing a 17-year-old on George H. Preyear Road around 12:30 a.m. on Aug. 15.

Anyone with information on Salter's whereabouts is asked to contact MPD at 251-575-3246.
