BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A Baldwin County politician held a press conference Thursday to address her alleged stalker's plea of guilty in the criminal case.

According to a news release, candidate for Alabama Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries, Christina Woerner McInnis, spoke about Clate Clark, McInnis's alleged stalker, who pleaded guilty to stalking and harassment charges.

Clark allegedly created over 27 fake profiles to not only harass McInnis, but McInnis' daughters as well, over a six-month period.

“Over the past six months, my daughters and I were subjected to repeated harassment and stalking by an individual who created dozens of fake accounts to target us and other women," said McInnis.
