Cardi B ‘s wig switch left a lawyer asking about her “real hair” in courtroom testimony. As she took the stand on Tuesday (Aug. 26), the Bronx rapper wore a long, blonde wig, a drastic contrast to the jet black pixie cut she sported the day before. Cardi B is currently in court facing a civil lawsuit in which the rapper is accused of assaulting a security guard during a 2018 incident at a doctor’s office.

“Yesterday you had black hair, short hair. Today it’s blonde and long. Which one is your real hair? Or are they both real?” Asked the lawyer during his cross-examination of the Grammy-winner.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper laughed before she responded, “They’re wigs.”

“Okay. Sorry, I didn’t know that. It’s a good wig today, then,” the lawyer replied.
