The new season will bring a new pregame host for the New Orleans Saints' in-house pregame show.

Stan Verrett , a New Orleans native and 25-year veteran of ESPN and former SportsCenter anchor, will host the new-look Saints' pregame show, which airs across the team's social and digital platforms.

Former Saints linebacker Scott Shanle , part of the Super Bowl XLIV championship team, will be part of the show as well as team reporter Erin Summers.

The show airs an hour before kickoff for every Saints game with analysis, information and interviews. The first episode will be Sept. 7 before the Saints' season opener against the Arizona Cardinals.

"We are thrilled to welcome Stan Verrett back home to New Orleans and into the Saints family," team president Dennis Lauscha said in a statement
