HALL COUNTY, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) - The Memphis Volunteer Fire Department reported it collaborated with "many other agencies and people" on Tuesday evening to respond to a rural plane crash in Hall County, in which multiple people were successfully removed from the crash site.
Officials with the department said crews responded to reports of a plane crash at around 7 p.m. Tuesday in "a very rural part of Hall County." The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed the crash happened in a field north of SH 256 between County Road 8 and County Road 10.
The Memphis VFD said first responders were able to use off-road vehicles to locate the crash site and extract people involved before delivering them to medical personnel. Texas DPS noted the plan crash only involved "minor injuries."
