A veteran Toronto cop accused of using his position to intimidate another motorist after a road rage incident has had his 17 police misconduct charges reduced to four after a key witness declined to testify at a tribunal hearing.
Const. Michael Kiproff — whose past conduct has been the subject of public complaints — was charged after an alleged road-rage incident with another motorist on the Queen Elizabeth Way in January 2023.
The incident was caught in part on a dashcam, and subsequent “intimidating” and “abusive and/or insulting and/or uncivil” exchanges with the motorist’s parents, as alleged in the remaining charges, were also recorded.
