LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Field of 68 recently named the top 25 college basketball players since 2000, and former Kentucky national champion Anthony Davis' ranking certainly raised eyebrows with Big Blue Nation.
Nation of Blue revealed on Monday, Aug. 25, that Davis finished in the top five, but was precariously left off the top spot, with a few questionable names in front of him.
The college basketball media outlet, led by Jeff Goodman and Rob Dauster, said Davis was the fifth-best player since 2000, finishing behind: • Tyler Hansbrough • Jalen Brunson • Zach Edey • Carmelo Anthony
Hansbrough (2009) and Anthony (2003) both finished their college careers as NCAA champions with North Carolina and Syracuse, respectively, while Brunson won a pair of titles in 2016 and 2018 with
