A Vineland man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly stabbed another man to death in his home Tuesday, the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office said.
Shawn A. Moir, 26, was charged with murder, unlawful possession of a knife and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. He was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals in Pennsylvania.
Vineland police responding to a stabbing about 11 p.m. on Diamond Drive found Albert Moir, 59, who died of his injuries, the Prosecutor's Office said in a news release.
The Prosecutor's Office did not state the relationship between Albert and Shawn Moir.
Shawn Moir fled prior to police arrival in a 2009 Black Chevrolet Tahoe, the Prosecutor's Office said.
