NORTHFIELD — An Atlantic City man was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly passed fraudulent checks at a local bank, police said.

Daniel Bucceroni, 70, was charged with bad checks and forgery. He was released on a summons pending court.

Officers responded to the Bank of Absecon at 2201 New Road and took Bucceroni into custody at 2:44 p.m., police said.

Investigators are working with other jurisdictions to determine whether Bucceroni passed fraudulent checks anywhere else, police said Thursday in a Facebook post.
