ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) -- A local student has been selected out of 2,600 entries to be featured in Times Square in New York City.

Noah Schultz, a 19-year-old life skills student at Altoona Area High School, has been selected to appear in the National Down Syndrome Society's annual video presentation.

His photo was chosen from over 2,600 entries and will be displayed on the screens in Times Square, New York City, Sept. 6.

The presentation showcases more than 500 people with Down syndrome from around the world and kicks off the city's annual Buddy Walk.
