BELLMEAD, Texas (KWTX) - A volunteer firefighter from a small community outside Waco is accused of sexually assaulting a Bellmead, Texas, teenager over the course of two years, an arrest warrant affidavit states.

Kody Roberts Evans, 31, is charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child, according to online jail records and court documents.

The victim’s mother met with the Bellmead Police Department on Aug. 3 after she learned Evans had been sexually assaulting her 15-year-old daughter, the arrest warrant alleges.

An investigation revealed Evans had been sexually assaulting the child since June 2023 until about June 2025, police said.
