YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - The Catholic Diocese of Youngstown responded Wednesday in the wake of a mass shooting at a Catholic church in Minneapolis, where two children were killed and multiple other children and adults were injured.
A gunman opened fire outside the Annunciation Catholic Church Wednesday morning, shooting through the windows, hitting parishioners inside. He was found with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound behind the building.
The Catholic Diocese of Youngstown, through Superintendent Steven Jones, issued the following statement:
