The love was plentiful for Kitty Corner Social Club's 100th adoption.

The local cat lounge started with just five felines in Feburary , quickly blossoming into a popular hangout for cat lovers.

The five-month-old tabby, Hot Love, recently became the Kitty Corner Social Club 's 100th adopted cat.

Since opening on Feb. 25, the downtown Iowa City buisness has welcomed more than 22,000 visits from more than 7,000 residents. Hot Love was adopted by Iowa City resident David Walker Hofbauer and his partner, Deven. Kitty Corner has parted ways with four more cats since.
