Johnson County Community Cats is collecting used books for its Pre-Loved Book Sale.

Local residents and cat lovers are invited to scour their shelves and dust off their forgotten to-be-read piles and donate to the sale. Books are being collected through Sept. 8 at Johnson County Community Cats’ Bargersville office and at partnering collection sites around the county and the southside of Indianapolis.

Donations of books of all kinds are accepted, but people are asked to not drop off textbooks, periodicals, or magazines.

Collection sites are: • Community Cats, 4247 N. State Road 135, Bargersville; • Fresh Pots Coffee Bar, 50 N. Madison Ave., Greenwood; • Herkert Family Eye Care, 6904 S. East St., Suite C, Indianpolis; • Toodleydoo Toys, 1 W. Jefferson St., Franklin; • Wild Geese
