CLAYTON — Authorities this week accused a teen of fleeing from police in a stolen car, just months after he pleaded guilty to more than a dozen charges related to a string of car break-ins across the region.
Juanell Carter, 18, of Hillsdale was charged Monday with aggravated fleeing and tampering with a motor vehicle. He was in custody Tuesday on a $100,000 bond, according to online records.
His new case comes just six months after he took a deal where he pleaded guilty to 16 counts in connection to dozens of car break-ins and thefts across St. Louis County. In exchange, prosecutors dropped 43 other charges against Carter in that case.
