A 44-year-old Auburn man who was missing for nearly a week has been found safe at a park in Roseville, police said Wednesday.
Auburn police had been searching for Hildefonso DeJesus Carlos, who was last seen on Aug. 22. He was found by Roseville police.

Auburn police previously told KCRA 3 that the man's vehicle was found two days after he went missing with most of his belongings inside.
Tomas Evangelista, a friend of Carlos, led search parties in recent days.
"He is somebody that just enjoys life," Evangelista said Tuesday. "It is very out of character.”
Initially, family members thought Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) might have picked him up, but Auburn police confirmed with federal partners that Carlos was not in their custody.
