TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A 19-year-old charged with three counts of attempted murder stemming from a shooting in Vigo County in March of 2024 was scheduled to be in court Wednesday for a pretrial hearing.

According to court documents, Chazz Courtney allegedly shot three people—Robert Trump, Robert's mother, Gale Trump, and Robert's stepfather, Jason Heistand— after an altercation at a local gas station.

A Probable Cause Affidavit (PCA) states that Courtney confronted Robert Trump at a gas station located at 13th and Poplar, in Terre Haute, accusing him of being a "snitch."
