The Boston Licensing Board could vote tomorrow on a request to allow a two-level music venue and restaurant at 28 Kingston St. downtown, where Good Life used to be.
Ravinder and Jeetendra Shahani's proposal calls for "jazz and other performances" on one floor, with the other floor focusing more on dining, attorney Dennis Quilty told the board today. He said the space would actually be split into two different spaces, one called LuXXor, the other the Bloom Room, using a liquor license they want to buy from D's Keys, a dueling-piano bar in South Boston that closed in April. He did not specify the type of food it would serve.
