BEDFORD – A Bedford woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Monday, August 25, after a 911 caller reported that she had been driving into oncoming traffic and forcing other vehicles off the road. Alice Haymaker, 62, faces charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and OWI endangerment.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed by Bedford Police Officer Sarah Haluda, she was dispatched to Revere’s Food & Fuel at approximately 2:10 p.m. on August 25 after receiving a report of an impaired driver. The caller stated that the driver of a gray or silver Camaro had crossed the center line, forcing several vehicles off the road, before turning into the gas station.
