VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - A man is in custody following the report of gunshots at a youth football event at Bayside Middle School in Virginia Beach.

An arrest warrant obtained by WAVY TV says Brandon Bethea faces several charges, including possession of a firearm at a school, maliciously shooting at an occupied motor vehicle, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, shooting within 100 feet of a school, and malicious wounding.

According to police, Bethea is accused of shooting at a car with people inside during the football event on Aug. 12. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
