TREMONTON, Utah (ABC4) — Preparations underway for the public viewing of two Tremonton-Garland Police officers who were shot and killed in the line of duty on Aug. 17 will be held today.

The viewing is scheduled to begin today at 3 p.m. at Bear River High school. Today all schools in Box Elder School District are on their early out schedule. On Thursday and Friday, school has been cancelled throughout the district due to the funeral services that will be held for Sgt Lee Sorensen and Officer Eric Estrada. All Tremonton City offices will be following a similar schedule.

Sorensen studied at Bear River High and the Principal of the school told ABC4 that it is a great way to honor his legacy.
