WASHINGTON — Emma Heming Willis is opening up about Bruce Willis' health and how their lives have changed since his dementia diagnosis more than two years ago.

Bruce Willis retired from acting in 2022 after he was diagnosed with aphasia and then frontotemporal dementia (FTD) . The 70-year-old "Die Hard" star has rarely been seen in public since then .

During a heart-wrenching interview with Diane Sawyer that aired Tuesday, Heming Willis revealed that some time ago the family made a decision to move Bruce to a second, one-story home nearby where he lives with his 24-hour care team. She told Sawyer she spends breakfast and dinner with him at that home every day.
