WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) - The Trumbull County Coroner has identified the body of a woman who was found inside a home last week in Cortland.

The body has been identified as 49-year-old Lynn Davis. A cause and manner of death are pending, according to Trumbull County Coroner Lawrence DAmico.

The investigation into Davis's death is ongoing.

Davis' body was found on Aug. 23 at a house on North Mecca Street. A family member told police he hadn’t spoken with Davis in a few days. Officers found her when they entered the home on Saturday.

Cortland Police Chief David Morris said when Davis' body was found that there were no signs of forced entry, the doors were locked, and there were no visible signs of trauma.
