LEXINGTON, S.C. (WIS) - A Lexington man has been arrested on multiple charges relating to child sex abuse material, according to the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.

Christopher Robin Cardosi, 28, was arrested Aug. 14 and charged with three counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Officials said Cardosi is accused of possessing files of child sexual abuse material after an online tip led investigators to him.

The charges against Cardosi are felonies punishable by up to 10 years in prison for each count.

As of Wednesday, records show Cardosi is booked at the Lexington County Detention Center on a $27,000 bond.

The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
