TOWN OF CLIFTON, Wis. (WKOW) — A three-vehicle crash on Highway 80 in the Town of Clifton left two people seriously injured.

The crash happened Monday at 6:20 p.m., according to the Grant County Sheriff's Office.

A 28-year-old man from Cassville was driving a 2022 Ford F250, slowing to turn left into a field drive. Meanwhile, Christopher Fawcett, 30, of Livingston, was behind him in a 2005 Ford Taurus and did not realize the man from Cassville was turning.

Fawcett attempted to avoid the truck's trailer but hit it, causing his vehicle to cross the centerline and collide with a northbound 2015 Kia driven by a 56-year-old from Montfort.

Fawcett and the 56-year-old suffered serious injuries and were taken to Southwest Health Center by Montfort EMS.
