SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The City of Sioux Falls has introduced the Community Partners Program, a new initiative that allows organizations to apply for and receive city funding.

The new program will focus on a Request for Proposals (RFP) process, switching from a subsidy grant agreement program.

In the new Request for Proposals program, the city will establish a process for awarding funds to organizations best positioned to serve the community’s needs.

This process will also confirm how program proposals are reviewed to align with the city priorities.

City resources will be mainly focused on three areas:

Supporting at-risk populations

Expanding culture, arts and community programming

Strengthening economic growth

Organizations that have already partnered with the City
