SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Levitt at the Falls and the City of Sioux Falls broke ground on the new Levitt Shell expansion project on Thursday.

The 7,000-square-foot expansion, to be named the Sweetman Atrium, will include the DSU community room, the Lust Family Second Stage, an expanded artist dressing room and green room, six offices for Levitt staff and additional storage.

“It’s been a very meaningful thing for us at the Levitt, it really has illustrated the community’s trust in our programming, it’s shown we’ve been embraced by the Sioux Falls community and how we continue to grow this beautiful downtown neighborhood, to continue to do more to build more community through music,” said vice president of programming Rose Ann Hofland.
