SPOKANE, Wash. -- The city of Spokane will have multiple city office closures in place for Labor Day.

City Hall will be closed on Monday, September 1. All library branches, the courthouse, and the waste-to-energy facility will also be closed.

Garbage, recycling and food and yard waste services will be a day late after the holiday. Normal Friday services will take place on Saturday.

On-street paid parking meters and kiosks will also not require payments. All parking rules, including time limits, still apply.

Spokane 311 and Development Services Center employees will not be available on Monday.

While the city's aquatic centers are closed for the season, splash pads and golf courses will be open through the Labor Day weekend. Splash pads will begin closing on Tuesday, September 2.
