The best part of an artist taking a hiatus is the excitement that is paired with their comeback release. Ella Mai gifted fans with a surprise announcement that she’s releasing new music, and the wait isn’t long as the single is set to arrive this Friday (Aug. 29).

“TELL HER my new single will be all yours THIS friday,” she wrote on Instagram. “tell a friend to tell a friend, and her too!”

The tasteful cover features the R&B talent sitting on a tile floor and looking up into the camera lens. She rocks a grey trench coat, tie, and heeled boots as her hair and makeup complement her look.
