Fittingly, Bishop Moore girls volleyball coach Tanya Jarvis Starrett had her 8-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son by her side when she notched her milestone 400th career victory on the road at Viera last week.

She’s made it all look easy with a 400-105 record in 18 seasons ahead of a match Wednesday. But being a wife, a mom and a school administrator on top of directing a state championship volleyball program takes teamwork. Tanya said her children and husband — Rollins College associate athletic director Clay Starrett — are a big part of a supporting cast that includes her assistant coaches and peers at the Orlando Catholic high school.
