Pledges to continue protests and bring awareness in campaign against human trafficking and organized crime

The Restore Roosevelt Avenue Coalition held a protest with community leaders in front of an active brothel located at 96th Street off 37th Avenue in Corona. The brothel advertises as a massage spa, a tactic used by many brothels in the area.

Last week the group protested in front of a brothel at 108th Street off 39th Avenue, next door to a bodega. The group called upon the FBI to initiate an investigation and take enforcement action with regard to the coordinated activities by international criminal organizations still operating in this community.
