Finding Solutions: Augusta Training Shop looking towards the holidays to fuel its mission

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Fall-like temperatures are in the air, and many are already looking ahead to spooky season.

The Augusta Training Shop has been around for nearly 80 years, employing adults with various disabilities, and they’re now looking toward the holidays to continue fueling their mission.

They’re a gift shop filled with handcrafted items made by their employees.

The non-profit is already preparing for Halloween with witch hats, bats, and new decorated cones you’ll only see this year.

Local seniors get help with college applications at South Aiken High

Dozens of colleges were at South Aiken High School on Wednesday for a College Application Month event.

They’re also pulling double duty, creating Christmas decor from their popular snowflakes, to ornaments and angels.
