SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio ISD says students and staff at six campuses will see more district police this week after "suspicious individuals" were reported near Hot Wells Middle School on the south side.
Hot Wells, Ball Elementary, Highland Hills Elementary, Schenck Elementary, Steele Montessori and Highlands High schools will have the increase law enforcement presence, according to a letter sent to district families Monday.
"It was reported that two adult males may have attempted to abduct a child" near Hot Wells after school let out for the day on Monday, officials said in that letter. The car's windows were heavily tinted.
