SAN ANTONIO — The Bexar County Sheriff's Office says a 1-year-old girl is dead after her parents found her in a hot car on the far southwest side.
Around 6:30 p.m., deputies responded to the 12104 block of Parish Divide after parents told dispatch they found their daughter unresponsive in a car. She has been identified as 1-year-old Ari'yanna Sanora Combs.
BCSO said she died due to heat-related injuries but the medical examiner's office will ultimately determine her cause of death.
The child's parents are currently being interviewed and questioned by investigators.
