HOPKINTON, Mass. —
Main Street in one MetroWest town was partially closed Wednesday after a building collapsed onto it and the sidewalk.

The building, which used to house Hopkinton Cards & Gifts and Hopkinton Wellness, was in the process of being demolished when the front wall collapsed.
From Sky5, crews were seen evaluating the debris, and a piece of heavy equipment was rolled over to try to pull the collapsed walls away from the roadway.
Police and fire had the westbound lanes of Main Street/Route 135 blocked, and traffic was being diverted to the eastbound lanes.
