CAMDENTON, Mo. — A mobile home in Camden County has been damaged following a fire on Tuesday, August 26.

According to a Mid-County Fire Protection District (MCFPD) social media post, firefighters were dispatched to a residential structure fire around 10:28 p.m. on the 9900 block of State Route D in Camdenton on Tuesday.

Crews found fire coming out of all of the windows of the home and were able to bring the flames under control in 15 minutes, the post says.

The department was able to extinguish the remaining hidden fire and hot spots. The mobile home was severely damaged, with crews deeming it a total loss.

After an investigation, it was found that a breaker box in a utility room was where the fire originated in the residence.
