GREEN BAY – Now that his 53-man roster has been determined, Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur can get down to the business of preparing his team for the Sept. 7 opener against the Detroit Lions .

The first order of business is getting quarterback Jordan Love caught up.

LaFleur said the two days of practice this week, Aug. 27 and 28, will feature Love doing everything he would do in a normal practice. It will be the first time since Love underwent surgery on his left thumb Aug. 12 that he will be working without limitation.

“We had a quick one (practice) yesterday (Aug. 26),” LaFleur said. “Today will be more of a moderate (one). We’re just trying to get — especially with our situation with Jordan — to get him a bunch of snaps. I think these practices are absolutely critical
