ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - We’re just over a week away from the Atlanta Falcons’ season opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the team has set its initial 53-man roster for the 2025-26 campaign.
The roster dropped Tuesday at the 4 p.m. ET deadline, and the offense features 24 players while the defense has 25 and specials teams has three.
That leaves a total of 52, which is likely left open to reflect the reported trade Atlanta made on Tuesday, when it acquired Michael Jerrell from the Seattle Seahawks for a conditional 2027 seventh-round pick.
