LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Tranquil weather conditions will continue on Thursday and Friday...with only isolated showers and thunderstorms expected in a few spots through the end of the work week. Areas of fog may cause a bit of a disruption for your early-Thursday morning commute. A more active weather pattern is expected to develop over the weekend as several disturbances in our northwest flow aloft slide across the region. Off-and-on shower and thunderstorm chances look to increase from Friday night through Labor Day Monday...with periods of dry weather punctuating this more active pattern. Severe weather threats look low for our area through Friday, but we’ll need to monitor any possible weekend threats as the forecast for Saturday-Sunday comes more into focus later this week.
