WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The West Fargo Police Department is giving an update on an owl they had a hand in rescuing from a soccer net.
The owl became entangled in the net at Sheyenne High School on Monday, August 18.

They called on ND Fish & Game and eventually the Red River Zoo, whose staff were able to cut the owl free.
The West Fargo Police Department says while they were happy to handle this call, future inquiries are best directed towards wildlife experts.
