Earlier this month, LATAM Airlines announced that it will introduce a new premium economy cabin on its Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet. It has now confirmed the seats will be supplied by German aircraft seat manufacturer RECARO Aircraft Seating, with deliveries beginning in 2027.

According to the airline, this will be the first time any Latin American carrier offers a dedicated premium economy product on long-haul flights. Across the industry, carriers have been investing heavily in enhancing the passenger experience, and premium economy has emerged as one of the fastest-growing cabin trends.
