RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT)—Sherral Crawley, the owner of No Limit Towing, was found guilty of check fraud in Richmond on Wednesday.

This comes a week before she’s set to be sentenced in a separate case. She faces eight charges related to her company’s illegal towing practices.

In 2023, multiple people came to 12 On Your Side to tell us that they believed No Limit Towing was overcharging them and that the company illegally towed their cars.

During the investigation, police say they discovered that Crawley was technically stealing some of the cars and selling them for a profit.

Crawley pleaded no contest to issuing a bad check in April. The felony was then reduced to a misdemeanor. She’ll serve one month of unsupervised probation.
