TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) -- A man who formerly worked as an intern for the City of Tampa was arrested Wednesday after he was accused of inappropriate conduct with children he met while working at a summer camp.

A news release from the Tampa Police Department said Amari Stubbs, 18, began talking to a girl he met while working at Jackson Heights summer camp in June.

Their social media conversations became sexual, according to TPD, and he was accused of asking for nude photos and requesting sexual activity with the girl.

While investigating Stubbs, detectives learned of a second incident where another girl accused him of touching her inappropriately at the summer camp. Stubbs was terminated from his internship with the city's Parks and Recreation Department.
